in a tutorial on recoloring black and white manga, the white artist reveals the only shade of brown that doesn’t make them think of feces, and claims finding shades of brown that don’t look like “poo” is the challenge of coloring brown skin, whereas the problem with lighter skinned people is that they come out orange or invisible, but still not comparable to POOP.
